SIUE Scholarship for Collinsville High School Students in Memory of Jessica Uhl

Jessica was a freshman at Southern Illinois University Edwardsville studying public relations. Each year we hold a benefit to to honor Jessica and Kelli, and raise money for their scholarship funds.

In honor of Jessica’s memory a scholarship has been established to benefit Collinsville High School students who are interested in a public relations career.

The Jessica Uhl Memorial Scholarship is available to students at Collinsville High School who will be attending SIUE as freshmen, and attending the College of Arts and Sciences.  Applicants must have an overall grade point average of a B or better, are required to write a short essay, and are asked to present two letters of recommendation from high school teachers. Please check back for updated information about the 2015 school year deadline.

Scholarship for Collinsville Area High School Students in Memory of Kelli Uhl

Kelli was in 8th grade and had dreams of becoming a veterinarian when she grew up.  Kelli loved animals and hated to see stories of animal cruelty.

In honor of Kelli’s memory, a scholarship is awarded through the Collinsville Education Scholarship Foundation.  It is available to students graduating from a Collinsville-area high school who wishes to attend an accredited institute of higher learning.
